George Arguello: A Journey Through Sound

George Arguello is dedicated to his craft. Since the mid-2000s, Arguello has honed his skills as a touring and session guitarist, captivating audiences across the United States and Europe. He has collaborated with many talented artists, consistently challenging listeners' perceptions of genre. From his early days as a guitarist with the tech-death outfit Solace of Requiem to his tenure with self-proclaimed "ghost metal" musician Wes Cage (son of Nicolas Cage), and now with his latest band, Against the Grave, Arguello's career is marked by versatility and innovation.

With a music education from Fullerton College, Arguello's background encompasses metal, rock, jazz, country, classical, Latin, and tribal-derived music. This diverse foundation allows him to bring a fresh and varied approach to songwriting and performance. Currently, he handles six-string duties in the groove metal crew Against the Grave, a band he joined in 2022. Additionally, Arguello is the touring guitarist for The Mendenhall Experiment, a rock metal band that raises awareness about people with disabilities and embodies an inspiring message of never giving up on your dreams.

A self-taught musician and trained audio engineer, Arguello prides himself on his ability to pick up new instruments and regularly challenges himself with new playing techniques. He has also collaborated on several notable music videos with the popular director Nathan Cox, known for his work with prominent artists.

Focused on surrounding himself with passionate musicians, Arguello continues to push his boundaries. With a Vegas Rocks! Magazine award under his belt and extensive stage experience, Arguello is developing his solo project and plans to venture into composition for film, television, and video game scores. One thing is for sure: where George Arguello goes, there's bound to be rock.
